Frequently asked questions

Everything worth knowing about Tenanto - from first steps to data security.

Getting started

Yes. It works just as well for one unit as for a whole portfolio. You start by adding your first flat and use the same tools.
You create an account, add a building and unit, assign a tenant and a contract. The system starts organizing rent, documents and deadlines automatically.
You can add units and tenants gradually. Higher plans offer import and migration help as part of onboarding.

Units and tenants

A unit can be free, rented, reserved, under renovation or unavailable. The status is visible right away in the list and the building record.
Yes, on every plan - the number of buildings is not limited. What your plan limits is the total number of units across your organization.
Yes. We treat tenant data as sensitive and limit its visibility to people who really need it, according to roles.

Payments

Yes. Tenanto automatically emails the tenant a reminder before the rent due date from a ready-made template, and ending contracts appear on the dashboard.
Yes. The rent amount, the day of the month it is due, and the deposit are part of the lease contract, visible to both the landlord and the tenant.
No. Tenanto reminds about the due date, but does not record payments - it helps to keep a proof-of-payment document pinned to the tenant or unit instead.

Documents

Yes. You assign contracts, annexes, reports and invoices to a building, unit or tenant, with categories to keep them organized.
It depends on the role: the tenant only sees documents linked to their own unit and contract, while the landlord and admin see everything for their organization.

Tenant panel

Yes, on every plan. The tenant sees the rent amount and documents and can report faults and communicate with the manager.
No. The tenant only sees information about their own unit and contract.

Security

We keep data in an organized way, with access control and user roles. We treat tenant data as sensitive and limit its visibility.
Yes, from the Professional plan you can have up to 5 accounts in one organization - a main account with full access, and additional accounts limited to day-to-day work.

Pricing

Yes, it covers 1 unit and one user at no cost.
Yes. You upgrade or downgrade depending on the number of units and team needs. Details are on the pricing page.
